Occasion (Hasan/Sahih): Al-Tirmidhi narrated from Abu Said Al-Khudri: revealed on the day of Ghadir Khumm regarding Ali ibn Abi Talib. Also said to have been revealed when the Prophet ﷺ was guarded by a man, then "Allah will protect you from people" was revealed and he dismissed the guard.

Question: What divine promise came in the same context to reassure the Prophet ﷺ about conveying the message?
Answer: "And Allah will protect you from people" — a promise of divine protection in exchange for complete conveyance.
