And Live With Them Properly — If You Dislike Them

وَعَاشِرُوهُنَّ بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ
— النساء 19
Verse: "And live with them properly. If you dislike them — perhaps you dislike a thing and Allah places much good in it." (4:19) — "Living together" means all daily interaction. Not merely avoiding harm but active goodness in every dealing. The verse acknowledges dislike may exist but teaches patience. Lesson: love is built not awaited.
