فَتَبَسَّمَ ضَاحِكٗا مِّن قَوۡلِهَا وَقَالَ رَبِّ أَوۡزِعۡنِيٓ أَنۡ أَشۡكُرَ نِعۡمَتَكَ
— النمل 19
Verse: "Until when they came upon the valley of ants, an ant said: O ants, enter your homes." (27:18)
The scene: A complete army of humans, jinn, and birds — and one small ant warning her people from being crushed by the army without its intention.
Solomon's response: "He smiled, amused by her speech, and said: My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your blessing" — a great king smiling at a small ant then thanking Allah for enabling him to hear the ant's words.
Lesson: Knowledge and power without gratitude is using a blessing without knowing its source. "Enable me to be grateful" — gratitude requires divine enablement one cannot achieve alone.
