prophets
st-049
Quranic context:
Yusuf (AS) had a remarkable dream and told his father Yaqub: he saw eleven stars, the sun, and the moon prostrating to him. Yaqub warned him about his brothers' envy.
Context:
The brothers convinced their father to let Yusuf go with them, then cast him into the well and fabricated a lie with a blood-stained shirt. Allah saved him through a passing caravan that pulled him out.
Lesson:
Envy can drive even close relatives to betrayal, but Allah honors His patient servant. No lament is recorded from Yusuf in the well — his patience became the path to his salvation.
