Yusuf Interprets the King's Dream — Knowledge as the Path to Freedom

Quranic context:
The king of Egypt dreamed of seven fat cows being eaten by seven lean ones, and seven green ears of grain and others dry. The interpreters failed, and the survivor finally remembered Yusuf in prison.

Context:
A messenger was sent to Yusuf, who interpreted: seven years of plenty then seven years of famine then a year of relief. He did not leave until he established his innocence in the shirt affair. He emerged in honor and said: "Put me in charge of the storehouses of the land — I am a knowing guardian."

Lesson:
Knowledge and competence open doors even in captivity. Yusuf did not beg for freedom but requested a position where he could fulfil his mission with justice. A qualified person seeking responsibility is not arrogance but a fulfillment of trust.
