The Fitrah of Allah — Religion in Harmony with Human Nature

tadabbur Level: basic universe-signs td-033
فِطۡرَتَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّتِي فَطَرَ ٱلنَّاسَ عَلَيۡهَا
— الروم 30
Verse: "So direct your face toward the religion, inclining to truth — the fitrah of Allah upon which He has created all people. No change in Allah's creation." (30:30)

Fitrah: The innate nature humans are born with — a natural inclination toward monotheism, truth, and beauty. The Prophet ﷺ said: "Every child is born on the fitrah; their parents make them Jewish, Christian, or Magian." (Bukhari)

"No change in Allah's creation": The fitrah does not change — but it can be obscured. Repentance and Islam are not a change of the person but a return to their original nature.

Lesson: Islam does not coerce the human being — it reconciles him with what he was created upon. Atheism and deviation are the real alienation from original nature.

Question: What is the "fitrah of Allah" and how does it connect to the hadith "every child is born on the fitrah"?
Answer: Fitrah: the innate nature inclined toward monotheism — the hadith confirms that deviation is acquired from environment, not innate. Islam is a return to the origin.
