إِنَّا سَمِعۡنَا قُرۡءَانًا عَجَبٗا يَهۡدِيٓ إِلَى ٱلرُّشۡدِ
— الجن 1
Verse: "Say: It has been revealed to me that a group of jinn listened and said: We have heard a wondrous Quran." (72:1)
The jinn's amazement at the Quran: Before accepting Islam they called it "a wondrous Quran" — acknowledging its inimitability upon first hearing. An additional witness to the truth of prophethood.
Their immediate faith: "It guides to right conduct, so we believed in it and will not associate anything with our Lord" — the jinn believed from one hearing. The Quran's impact is not limited to humans.
Lesson: The Quran affected creatures never seen — so what about the human upon whom it is recited daily while their heart remains closed?

Question: What was the first thing the jinn said when they heard the Quran, and what does it signify?
Answer: "A wondrous Quran" — acknowledging inimitability before faith. Proof that the Quran affects sound innate natures upon mere hearing.
