By Time — The Shortest Surah Containing the Most Complete Method

وَٱلۡعَصۡرِ إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ لَفِي خُسۡرٍ
— العصر 1
Verse: "By time — indeed, humanity is in loss, except those who believe, do good, and advise each other to truth and patience." (103:1-3)
Al-Shafi'i said: "If people pondered this surah it would suffice them" — because it contains the complete salvation program.
Four pillars of salvation: Faith, good deeds, mutual advice to truth, mutual advice to patience.
Lesson: Individualism is insufficient in Islam — "advising each other" is a collective verb; religion is community, not an isolated individual.
