وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيۡءٍ مُّحِيطٗا
— النساء 126
Verse: "And to Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and earth — Allah is ever, of all things, Encompassing." (4:126)
Reflection: "Kana" indicates permanence — Allah's encompassment is not a new occurrence but an eternal intrinsic attribute. Nothing is outside His knowledge or authority.
Lesson: What you "own" you don't truly own — you are a trustee in it, and it will return to its real Owner. So neither wealth elevates you nor its loss humiliates you.

Question: What does "Allah is Encompassing of all things" mean and what is its educational effect?
Answer: Eternal encompassment in knowledge and will — everything within the circle of His knowledge. Effect: the believer fears only Allah because nothing is outside His authority.
