Is One Who Believes Like One Who Acts Immorally? They Are Not Equal

tadabbur Level: basic qalb-states td-193
أَفَمَن كَانَ مُؤۡمِنٗا كَمَن كَانَ فَاسِقٗاۚ لَّا يَسۡتَوُۥنَ
— السجدة 18
Verse: "Is one who believes like one who acts immorally? They are not equal." (32:18)

Statement of the difference: The Quran establishes an explicit rule: the believing worker and the immoral person are not equal. This world may give the immoral more wealth and the believer tightness — but the true scale is on Judgment Day.

Lesson: Don't measure yourself against the comfortable immoral person — measure by the true scale when "they are not equal."

Question: Why does the believer and immoral person seem equal in this world but not in the Hereafter?
Answer: This world is a trial not recompense — recompense is on Judgment Day. The apparent equality in this world is a test, not the final verdict.
