O Believers Respond to Allah and His Messenger When He Calls You to That Which Gives You Life

Verse: "O believers, respond to Allah and His Messenger when He calls you to that which gives you life." (8:24) — "To what gives you life" — not "to what pleases you" or "to what you decide." Responding to Islam is responding to true life. The believer's partial response means partial life. The word "calls" is past tense indicating continuity — every moment Islam calls you to a better life. Lesson: when you hesitate in obedience — remember you are hesitating about your own life, not a heavy burden.
