هُوَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنزَلَ ٱلسَّكِينَةَ فِي قُلُوبِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
— الفتح 4
Verse: "He who sent down tranquility into the hearts of the believers that they might increase in faith along with their faith." (48:4) — "Sakina" — not just tranquility but a light Allah casts into the heart. During the Trench battle and Hudaybiyyah the situation was turbulent and hearts disturbed — so Allah sent down tranquility. "That they might increase in faith" — sakina doesn't come after faith only — it multiplies it. The reassured heart believes more and trusts deeper. Lesson: ask for sakina — it is Allah's gift to believers in the hardest moments.

Question: What is the difference between "sakina" and ordinary reassurance in the Quran?
