"Do Not Make Your Prayer Too Loud Nor Too Silent" — Between Loud and Silent Prayer

وَلَا تَجۡهَرۡ بِصَلَاتِكَ وَلَا تُخَافِتۡ بِهَا
— الإسراء الآية 110
Verse: "Do not make your prayer too loud or too silent — seek a middle way." (17:110)

Occasion (Agreed upon): Bukhari and Muslim narrated from Aisha: revealed regarding supplication — some people raised voices in dua and the polytheists mocked them and reviled Allah. Ibn Abbas narrated: the Prophet ﷺ concealed prayer in Mecca fearing polytheists, then this verse came with the middle path.
