When You Travel There Is No Blame in Shortening Prayer

Verse: "When you travel there is no blame on you in shortening prayer — if you fear the disbelievers will trouble you." (4:101) — Shortening in travel: an emphasized concession. Umar: "It is a charity Allah bestowed on you, so accept His charity." "If you fear" was mentioned but is not a condition — evidenced by the Prophet shortening prayer while traveling safely.
