The "Do Not Leave" Rule — Every Verse Is Unique and Irreplaceable

وَٱتۡلُ مَآ أُوحِيَ إِلَيۡكَ مِن كِتَابِ رَبِّكَ

— الكهف الآية 27

Prophetic basis: "How bad for one to say 'I forgot such-and-such verse' — rather, he was made to forget." (Bukhari) Describing forgetting as being "made to forget" indicates censure — meaning: abandoning review until forgetting occurred.

Why can a skipped verse not be compensated?

Every verse has a precise place in context — leaving it creates a gap weakening what precedes and follows it
Continuous memorization differs from fragmented — memory retrieves by sequence
Leniency with one verse opens the door to leniency with others

Practical rule: If a verse is difficult — double your effort on it, don't skip it. Never move to the next verse until the previous is mastered. Memorization is a chain — every link is essential.
