Jesus in the Quran — The Prophet Around Whom Controversy Multiplied
إِنَّ مَثَلَ عِيسَىٰ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ كَمَثَلِ ءَادَمَ
— آل عمران الآية 59
Quranic status: Jesus ﷺ is mentioned by name 25 times — more than Muhammad ﷺ by name (4 times). An entire surah, "Maryam," is dedicated to his story.
The Quranic truth about Jesus:
"I am the messenger of Allah to you, confirming what came before me of the Torah, and giving glad tidings of a messenger who will come after me, whose name is Ahmad." (61:6)
