Ibrahim Revives the Birds — Answering Certainty with Action
قَالَ بَلَىٰ وَلَٰكِن لِّيَطۡمَئِنَّ قَلۡبِي
— البقرة الآية 260
Quranic context: Al-Baqarah 260
Context: Ibrahim said: "My Lord, show me how You give life to the dead." Allah said: "Do you not believe?" He said: "Yes, but to reassure my heart." Allah commanded him to take four birds, cut them apart, place a piece on each mountain — then call them, and they would come to him running.

- Certainty has degrees — Ibrahim believed but sought sensory reassurance, not from doubt but aspiring to a higher station
- Allah answered his request with action — not "just believe" but "act then call"
- Trust in Allah does not mean passive surrender — it means full preparation then reliance
- "Know that Allah is Mighty and Wise" — might in the power to give life, wisdom in revealing it to His prophet
