Ha-Mim and the Clear Book — The Oath by the Blessed Night
إِنَّآ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ فِي لَيۡلَةٍ مُّبَٰرَكَةٍ
— الدخان الآية 3
Verse: "Ha-Mim. By the clear Book. Indeed We sent it down on a blessed night." (44:1-3)
"The blessed night": Laylat Al-Qadr — said to be in Ramadan. On it every wise matter is decreed: "In it every wise matter is ordained" — meaning destinies, provisions, and lifespans for the coming year are written.
Lesson: One night — Laylat Al-Qadr — changes the destinies of an entire year. What is neglected in it cannot be compensated throughout the year.
