Surah: Al-Anam (59)
With Him Are the Keys of the Unseen — Five Things Only Allah Knows
وَعِندَهُۥ مَفَاتِحُ ٱلۡغَيۡبِ لَا يَعۡلَمُهَآ إِلَّا هُوَ
— الأنعام الآية 59
Verse: "With Him are the keys of the unseen — none knows them but He." (6:59)
Hadith: "The keys of the unseen are five known only to Allah: the time of the Hour, when rain descends, what is in wombs, what a soul will earn tomorrow, and in what land a soul will die." (Bukhari & Muslim)
Wisdom of concealment: If a person knew their death date they would stop working — ignorance of the unseen keeps them on the path of worship and hope.
Lesson: Hidden unseen knowledge is a mercy — among Allah's mercies is that you don't know when you'll die.
