Basic This World & Hereafter Surah: Al-Qasas (60)

Whatever You Have Been Given Is the Enjoyment of This Worldly Life

وَمَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ خَيۡرٌ وَأَبۡقَىٰٓ
— القصص الآية 60
Verse: "Whatever you have been given is the enjoyment of this worldly life and its adornment. What is with Allah is better and more enduring." (28:60) — Everything in this world. Contrast: "better" in quality + "more enduring" in permanence. Lesson: not required to leave the world — but to know its real size. "Mata'" = passing pleasure, "zina" = beautiful appearance that may hide emptiness.
