Basic Creed Surah: Al-Kahf (110)

Say I Am Only a Human Like You — It Is Revealed to Me — The Foundation of the Message

قُلۡ إِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ بَشَرٌ مِّثۡلُكُمۡ يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَيَّ
— الكهف الآية 110
Verse: "Say: I am only a human like you — it is revealed to me that your deity is one deity." (18:110) — Explicit declaration of humanity. Prophethood is not claiming divinity but divine selection of a human. Because Allah wants a followable example — if the Prophet were an angel they'd say "we can't." Ends: "Whoever hopes to meet his Lord — let him do good and associate none in his Lord's worship." Lesson: humanity is an honor not deficiency — Allah chose a human as messenger to be a truly followable model.
