Take the Easy Way, Command Good, and Ignore the Ignorant — The Prophet's Threefold Conduct
خُذِ ٱلۡعَفۡوَ وَأۡمُرۡ بِٱلۡعُرۡفِ وَأَعۡرِضۡ عَنِ ٱلۡجَٰهِلِينَ
— الأعراف الآية 199
Verse: "Take the easy way, command what is right, and ignore the ignorant." (7:199) — Three commands encompassing all ethics of human interaction: accept what comes easily from people without demanding perfection; command good with gentleness; ignore the ignorant — the ignorant isn't treated by argumentation but by disengagement. Jibreel's explanation: "Allah commands you to reconnect with those who cut you, give to those who deprive you, and forgive those who wrong you." Lesson: keeping these three suffices against the harm in every human relationship.
