Basic Noon Saakinah Rules

Izhar Halqi — Definition & Letters

Izhar literally means clarity and clearness.
Technically: pronouncing each letter from its articulation point without any ghunnah (nasal sound) in the displayed letter.

Called Halqi because its letters come from the throat (halq). The six letters are:
ء (Hamza), ه (Ha), ع (Ain), ح (Ha), غ (Ghain), خ (Kha)

Example: "مَنْ آمَنَ" — noon sakinah before hamza → Izhar Halqi
