Madd Lazim — Strongest & Longest Madd
Madd Lazim is the strongest and longest type of Madd — duration: 6 harakaat (obligatory).
Called Lazim because the sukoon causing it is original (not temporary).
Four types:

Four types:
- Kalimi Muthaqqal: Madd + sukoon + shaddah in one word — e.g., "الحَاقَّة"
- Kalimi Mukhaffaf: Madd + original sukoon without shaddah — very rare
- Harfi Muthaqqal: In disconnected letters that extend and merge — e.g., Lam in "الم"
- Harfi Mukhaffaf: In disconnected letters that only extend — e.g., "يس، طه"
