Allah's Most Beautiful Names — The Meaning of Ihsa

وَلِلَّهِ ٱلۡأَسۡمَآءُ ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰ فَٱدۡعُوهُ بِهَا
— الأعراف الآية 180
Verse: "To Allah belong the Most Beautiful Names, so call upon Him by them." (7:180)

Hadith: "Allah has ninety-nine names — a hundred minus one — whoever ihsa them enters Paradise." (Agreed Upon)

Ihsa means: Not memorization alone — but understanding and believing them, calling upon Allah by them appropriately, and embodying what is embodyable: "Ar-Rahman" → show mercy; "Al-'Afw" → pardon others.

Note: Allah has more than 99 names total; the hadith specifies 99 whose ihsa leads to Paradise.
