Muthaalan: Two identical letters (same makhraj and sifaat), first sakinah, second moving.
Types:
• Sagheer (small): first sakinah — obligatory Idgham: "اذهَبْ بِّكِتَابِي"
• Kabeer (large): both moving — Idgham in some readings
Hafs examples: "قَدْ دَخَلُوا" (Dal+Dal), "لَكُم مَّا" (Meem+Meem)
