Prayer of Fear — Its Method and Quranic Evidence

فَلۡتَقُمۡ طَآئِفَةٌ مِّنۡهُم مَّعَكَ وَلۡيَأۡخُذُوٓاْ أَسۡلِحَتَهُمۡ
— النساء الآية 102
Verse: "When you are among them and lead them in prayer — let a group stand with you bearing their weapons. When they have prostrated, let them be behind you, and let the other group come forward." (4:102)

Prayer of Fear: Concession for battle to perform prayer while maintaining security watch.

Method (most narrated): (1) Group splits in two: first prays one rak'ah with Imam while second guards. (2) First goes to guard, second prays one rak'ah with Imam. (3) Imam prays fully; each group completes missed rak'ahs individually.

Legal significance: Prayer is never dropped — even at the height of battle.
