Shu'ayb and the People of Midian — The Prohibition of Fraud in Measurement

ٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَوۡفُواْ ٱلۡكَيۡلَ وَٱلۡمِيزَانَ
— هود الآية 84
Verse: "And to Midian, their brother Shu'ayb. He said: O my people, worship Allah and give full measure and weight." (11:84)

Shu'ayb ﷺ — prophet of ethical economics: He came to his people addressing a specific problem: fraud in measurement. His call unified monotheism and ethical economics simultaneously.

"Do not deprive people of their things": Cheating in buying and selling destroys economic and social trust.

Lesson: Religion is not only rituals — it extends to govern your market dealings as it governs your prayer in the mosque.
