Ayat Al-Kursi — The Greatest Verse in the Quran
ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلۡحَيُّ ٱلۡقَيُّومُ
— البقرة الآية 255
Verse: "Allah — there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer..." (2:255)
Virtue: The Prophet ﷺ said: "The greatest verse in the Quran is Ayat Al-Kursi." (Muslim) And: "Whoever recites it after every prescribed prayer, nothing stands between him and Paradise except death." (Nasai — Sahih)

- "Who intercedes except by His permission" — perfect might
- "He knows what is before them and behind them" — perfect knowledge
- "They encompass nothing of His knowledge except what He wills" — Allah's exclusive perfect knowledge
- "His Kursi encompasses the heavens and earth" — perfect magnificence
