Basic States of the Heart Surah: At-Tin (4)

We Created the Human in the Best Form — The Divine Dignity of the Human

لَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ فِيٓ أَحۡسَنِ تَقۡوِيمٍ
— التين الآية 4
Verse: "We created the human in the best form. Then returned him to the lowest of the low — except those who believe and do good." (95:4-6)

"Best form": Not just beautiful appearance — but complete balance in creation physically and spiritually. Honored with reason, character, and freedom of choice.

"Returned to the lowest": One who preferred desire over reason and animal over human — descended below animals.

Exception: "Except those who believe and do righteous deeds — for them is a reward uninterrupted." Faith and action preserve the human in his best form.

Lesson: Allah honored you — do not humiliate yourself through moral descent.
