Do They Not Look at Camels — How They Were Created — Contemplating the Ordinary
أَفَلَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَى ٱلۡإِبِلِ كَيۡفَ خُلِقَتۡ
— الغاشية الآية 17
Verse: "Do they not look at the camels — how they were created? And the sky — how it was raised?" (88:17-18)
Why camels? The Quran chose an example from Arabs' daily life — because miracles are not always in the distant but in the familiar and neglected. Camels seen every day are among the greatest signs.
Lesson: The sequence from camels → sky → mountains → earth: from the nearest to the farthest, from the familiar to the great. A Quranic method in cultivating contemplation.
