Those Who Spend Seeking Allah's Pleasure Are Like a Garden on High Ground
كَمَثَلِ جَنَّةِۭ بِرَبۡوَةٍ أَصَابَهَا وَابِلٌ فَـَٔاتَتۡ أُكُلَهَا ضِعۡفَيۡنِ
— البقرة الآية 265
Verse: "The example of those who spend their wealth seeking Allah's pleasure — like a garden on high ground." (2:265)
Two contrasting images: The one who gives for show is like a rock with soil — rain exposes it. The one who gives for Allah is like a garden on high ground — rain multiplies it. Same giving, different outcomes. The difference: intention.
Lesson: Your intention determines what happens to your giving — the same act may be a garden on high ground or a stripped rock.
