Moses Said: You Have Given Pharaoh Adornment — The Prayer of One Who Leaves Vengeance to Allah

Verse: "Moses said: Our Lord, You have given Pharaoh and his chiefs adornment and wealth in this worldly life." (10:88) — Moses complains to Allah not out of envy but because Pharaoh uses wealth to divert from Allah. Then prays for annihilation. Lesson: prayer against the oppressor has its moment — after exhausting all argument and hope.
