Surah: Yunus (62)
Indeed the Friends of Allah Have No Fear Nor Do They Grieve
أَلَآ إِنَّ أَوۡلِيَآءَ ٱللَّهِ لَا خَوۡفٌ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ يَحۡزَنُونَ
— يونس الآية 62
Verse: "Indeed the friends of Allah have no fear nor do they grieve." (10:62) — "Ala" for attention: a divine announcement. Wali of Allah: "those who believe and used to fear Allah" — not exclusive to saints but every pious believer. No fear and no grief doesn't mean no pain but no panic or despair. Lesson: any believer who loves and fears Allah is His wali — worth the "ala."
