Basic Stories Surah: Hud (58)

When Our Command Came We Saved Hud and Those Who Believed With Him

Verse: "When Our command came We saved Hud and those who believed with him — by a mercy from Us." (11:58) — Salvation "by a mercy from Us" — not a reward for perfection but Allah's mercy. The believing survivors weren't infallible — they were faithful and steadfast. Lesson: faith is not a guarantee of permanent comfort but a guarantee of ultimate salvation.
