Basic Trust in Allah Surah: Al-Araf (196)

My Protector Is Allah Who Sent Down the Book — He Befriends the Righteous

إِنَّ وَلِيِّۦَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِي نَزَّلَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
— الأعراف الآية 196
Verse: "My protector is Allah who sent down the Book and He befriends the righteous." (7:196) — The Prophet ﷺ declares in the face of threats: my protector is Allah — I need no human protector. "He befriends the righteous" — righteousness is the condition for divine friendship, not lineage or wealth. Lesson: the person who possesses this trust in Allah cannot be intimidated or crushed — the strength of the protected is from the strength of the Protector.
