The Hereafter
Surah: Az-Zumar (73)
Those Who Disbelieved Driven in Groups to Hell — Those Who Feared Allah Led in Groups to Paradise
وَسِيقَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوۡاْ رَبَّهُمۡ إِلَى ٱلۡجَنَّةِ زُمَرٗا
— الزمر الآية 73
Verse: "Those who disbelieved driven in groups to Hell — those who feared Allah led in groups to Paradise." (39:71-73) — "Driven" (seeqa) for disbelievers like herded animals by force — involving humiliation. "Led" for believers — same verb but different meaning: moving together in honor and joy. "Zumar" = groups upon groups. When Paradise's gate opens the keeper says: "Peace be upon you, you have been good — enter it eternally." A royal reception unmatched by worldly receptions. Lesson: the world is a stage that determines which group you'll walk with on the Day of Judgment.
