O Man What Deceived You Concerning Your Lord the Most Generous — A Question Seeking an Answer
مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ ٱلۡكَرِيمِ
— الانفطار الآية 6
Verse: "O man, what deceived you concerning your Lord the Most Generous?" (82:6) — A burning question. The Quran implies the answer: "the deceiver (Shaytan) deceived you about Allah" (35:5). But "Most Generous" here is a deep nuance: as if the deception came from Allah's generosity! Humans exploited their Lord's generosity to procrastinate repentance, saying: "Allah is generous — He will forgive." "Who created you, formed you, proportioned you — in whatever form He willed He assembled you" — three creation stages: origination, formation, proportioning. Allah assembled you in the form He willed — how then do you complain about your form? Lesson: when you delay repentance with "Allah is Forgiving" — know you exploited generosity against the Generous.
