Basic The Hereafter Surah: Al-Inshiqaq (8)

As for One Given Their Book in Their Right Hand — They Will Be Given an Easy Account

فَسَوۡفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابٗا يَسِيرٗا
— الانشقاق الآية 8
Verse: "As for one given their book in their right hand — they will be given an easy account and return to their family in happiness." (84:7-9) — "An easy account": the Prophet ﷺ said: "That is the review — people's deeds are presented, and whoever is scrutinized in accounting is ruined." Aisha asked: "What is the easy account?" He said: "That He looks at their book and overlooks." The easy account is not no accounting — but accounting without scrutiny, a presentation without prosecution. "Returns to their family in happiness" — returns to the people of Paradise joyfully — Paradise is a reunion with loved ones, not solitude. Lesson: ask Allah for the easy account — it is more precious than asking for abundant reward.
