Surah: Al-Fajr (27)
O Reassured Soul Return to Your Lord Pleased and Pleasing — The Crown of Inner Peace
يَٰٓأَيَّتُهَا ٱلنَّفۡسُ ٱلۡمُطۡمَئِنَّةُ ٱرۡجِعِيٓ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكِ رَاضِيَةٗ مَّرۡضِيَّةٗ
— الفجر الآية 27
Verse: "O reassured soul, return to your Lord pleased and pleasing — enter among My servants and enter My Paradise." (89:27-30) — The most beautiful address in the Quran: "O reassured soul." Who achieved reassurance? Whoever was pleased with Allah in all states — ease and hardship. "Pleased" from her side, "pleasing" from Allah's side. Mutual pleasure between servant and Lord. "Enter among My servants" — before Paradise: belonging to the community of the righteous. Then "enter My Paradise" — note the attribution: "My Paradise" not "the Paradise" — an honoring through divine attribution. Lesson: reassurance does not come from abundance of wealth or health — but from pleasure with Allah. This is true inner peace.
