Intermediate Monotheism Surah: Az-Zukhruf (19)

They Made the Angels Who Are Servants of the Most Merciful Females — A Huge Slander

أَشَهِدُواْ خَلۡقَهُمۡ
— الزخرف الآية 19
Verse: "They made the angels — who are servants of the Most Merciful — females. Were they witnesses at their creation?" (43:19) — Quraysh worshipped angels claiming they were female and that Allah took them as daughters. The Quranic response is logical: "Were they witnesses at their creation?" — did you attend the creation of the angels and see they were female? Do you have knowledge or are you fabricating? "Their testimony will be recorded and they will be questioned" — every statement about Allah without knowledge will be answered for. Lesson: every religious opinion must be built on evidence — speculation in religion is a crime.
