Allah Is Predominant Over His Affairs but Most People Do Not Know — Divine Predominance in Hidden Ways

وَٱللَّهُ غَالِبٌ عَلَىٰٓ أَمۡرِهِۦ
— يوسف الآية 21
Verse: "And Allah is predominant over His affairs but most people do not know." (12:21) — Said by Allah in Yusuf's story when he was sold cheaply thinking he was finished — but the sale was the beginning of the path to the throne. Allah is predominant even when it appears otherwise. "Most people do not know" — the majority don't realize what appears as a calamity may be planning. Yusuf was at the bottom of the well then in prison — yet Allah was planning. Lesson: do not read your life's events with short vision — wait for the final chapter.
