Al-Jawf — The Madd Letters' Origin

Al-Jawf (the cavity): the empty space inside mouth and throat.

The three Madd letters originate here: Alif (ا after fathah), Waw sakinah (وْ after dammah), Ya sakinah (يْ after kasrah).

Why Jawf? Because they're not confined to a specific organ — the sound extends through the entire cavity.
Key quality: Softness and extension.
