Basic The Hereafter Surah: Maryam (95)

Every One of Them Will Come to Him on Judgment Day Alone — Absolute Solitude on the Day of Gathering

وَكُلُّهُمۡ ءَاتِيهِ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ فَرۡدٗا
— مريم الآية 95
Verse: "Every one of them will come to Him on Judgment Day alone." (19:95) — Alone, without wealth, children, rank, or tribe. Everything you shelter behind now will be removed on Judgment Day. Absolute solitude — even those who were your companions in misguidance avail you nothing. "Every one of them" — all humanity, believer and disbeliever, king and poor, righteous and wicked. Solitude on Judgment Day is universal. "The day when neither wealth nor children benefit — except one who comes to Allah with a sound heart" (26:88-89) — the only thing remaining with you is your heart. Lesson: everything you accumulate in this world will be left behind — except your heart and deeds.
